Dog Sledding

Does anyone ever take their dogs sledding? I have a small hill in my yard & a plastic sled. My dog Baxter will climb in & sit in front of me. We will take off down the hill & he just sits there like a statue & enjoys the ride.

Sounds fun! I haven't been sledding in a long time. Tried to get Kia to pull me in a sled but no go. *laughs*

I tried that when I had my old dog. It didn't go quite as planned. He hopped off , chased me & then started dragging me around in the snow thinking the sled was harming me

So ya, I didn't try that again.. But I hooked him up to an old wodden sled & got him to pull me around.. I've even hooked him up to a snowboard & he took me rollerblading.. I cannot skate or blade anylonger as my legs cannot handle it, so he was my go, turn & stop.. He was quite the clever boy

Micki LOVES to go sledding!!! He actually likes riding on anything (Motorcycles, 4 wheelers, skateboards...etc) but he just sits on the sled as still as can be and thinks its the greatest thing! Last winter Micki would get on the sled and Jack would pull him around the yard, it was hilarious!

When Star was younger and my son was still at home, they would go sledding and she would pull the sled back up the hill!
