I'm sure many of you remember my sugar skulls that I made for Dia De Los Muertos. This weekend I went to the parade to celebrate and I thought I would share some of the pictures.

A desert crane santurary, in honor of all the cranes that have passed on.


I wish I could have gotten a better picture. This was made in memory of a beloved pet. On the front he had a tag with his name on it, I forgot what it was. He must have been a wonderful dog for his owners to make this wonderful float of him.

How cool! I've typically always hated parades (too much noise, confuision... etc) but this is one I'd have loved to see! Looks like so much fun and creativity!

This really is one of my favorite parades. You stand on the side and watch it, then when you get to the end you join it! So the parade itself starts out small but by the time it is over it's huge and there is a huge party. This year there was a group of fire dancers at the party, there's usually music and dancing. My favorite is watching all the children dancing around having a great time.

Very cool costumes. It looks like a lot of fun. I bet it was fun watching the kids dance around. I love watching kids having fun.
