    Adopt A Rescued Betta! :)

Well, my house has become just filled with BETTAS! I can't help myself when I see them in those little cups with fin rot and all those horrible things that happen at WAL*MART and other LFS in the area.

Anyway, I have 1 boy available for adoption if anyone wants him. He's a really active boy, and is quite unique. He's a Veiltail/Crowntail cross with extra long pectoral fins. When I got him he was ridden with fin rot, but he's 100% better now.

All I ask is that you pay shipping, I have a heat pack and insulated box, so I can ship USPS Priority Mail for $15.00.

PM me if your interested... Here he is:

You have NO idea how much counter space we have. Practically none. I'm seriously living in a one-room house haha. This entire "house" is as big as my parents' living room

I'm actually VERY surprised I'm managing with not one, but two medium-sized dogs! ANYWAY back on topic, lets get this betta a new home!!!

Aww...I would definately adopt him, but I have my hands full with my two. I don't really have enough space. He's gorgeous though...if you still have him after the 1st of the year, let me know.

What size tank are you getting? They do well in a simple 1 gallon bowl...

They thrive and are more active in larger tanks though.. maybe that's why she's getting a larger one?

That's true, I was just wondering how big she's going. Or I suppose it could be one of those fancy eclipse ones...I was just thinking $60, I got my 10 gallon for $5, and then about $25-$30 for the extras.

10 gallon for $5?? Wow. Even at Walmart their 10 gallons are about $15.
At least, that's what I paid when I got mine. Walmart sure is cheaper than stores like petsmart and petco when it comes to aquariums, though!!
