Kaige, Raustyk & I decided to celebrate Kaige's graduation from puppy class with outings to a few local parks/hikingtrails over the weekend. We also celebrated the nice weather!

I am proud of my boy, he graduated at the top of the class! We move onto Advanced 1 which starts this Sat. There are only 2 dogs from our class of 10 that are moving onto advanced. A few failed, mostly the owners that failed not the dogs lol and a few just wanted to do one class. Some people didn't even want to do the one class but they had to. One of the shelters in our area will only adopt out certain dogs if you take them to this obedience class.

Anyways here's the fun we had this past weekend!

This is the begining of the day. We hiked up a large hill, called Indian Hill.
Starting our walk:
Come on mom... put that flashy thing away & hike

Come on Raustyk, oops oh there you are (he almost ran right into her)

Another photo shoot at another park. Kaige kept looking at the leaves blow so it was hard to get a pic with both of them looking at me or in the same direction. he did a 10 minute stay though on only one stay command! What a good boy!

What you have aussies and you would die if they ever got muddy? Thats all we do! Have fun, hike & get dirty!!! lol You should of seen him, almost his whole body was all mud like that, up to his shoulders anyways. Of course it happened right afer I put away my camera. I go to get my camera out & he hops in the water & washes off. (insert rolling eyes smilie)

And yeah mine do get down and dirty but I guess they don't really have the opportunity here since our "beach" is a rock beach, not dirt or sand so even swimming ALL day they don't get muddy you know?? I can't wait until I get my own house and they discover digging in the back yard... haha I'm in for fun then!
