Today is my pop's birthday and for the first time in years & years & years I didn't give him a gift. Well just not yet anyways.You see we are having a surprise b-day party for him this Sat. Thats when he's getting his gift.
So I have to see him & work with him for 2 more days before he gets his gift. He's probably wondering WTF!!!!!!
No one is giving him a gift yet, no one is taking him out to dinner or anything. Today and for the next 2 days he's gonna be thinking that his kids, brothers, sisters, friends, family all suck ass cause none of us is doing anything for him for his b-day.
I just feel oh so terrible about it.
Even though he's going to get a gift and a party, I still feel bad because he's NEVER had a surprise party. We have ALWAYS either celebrated his b-day on his b-day or the weekend before or we tell him in ADVANCE that we will celebrate it the weekend after.
