Ok,in English were doing poem explications. And we have to write the speaker, 1st person,2nd person or 3rd person.
Im in 10th grade and i should know this,but i never really understood what the persons mean.
so what does..
1st person
2nd person
3rd person mean?

Okay.. HOPEFULLY this is right.

Saying or writing something in the 1st person is when you're talking about a personal experience (by using the word "I").

Saying or writing something in the 2nd person is when you're instructing the reader (by using the word "you").

Saying or writing something in the 3rd person is when you're making a statement or addressing something.
