    We are going on a little Holiday ....

    ... leaving tomorrow, and coming back on Sunday.

    We are going to
    The River Cottage

    Which is part of Merindah Cottages

    Looking forward to it - they are so doggie friendly, and the people who own the unit have sent through a detailed map, places of interest along the way, things to do, what to see .......... and most importantly a list of places where they will accept doggies whilst you have lunch or a quick drink or two

    Plan on taking LOTS and LOTS of pics.

    This was the view from the cottage :



    We had our own jetty - pity we didn't have a boat!!!

    Here is Captain on the jetty - but NOT SITTING NEAR HIS MUM ...... just in case she shoved him in the water ... (which I wouldn't do ...)



    I did not let Ruby come up near the jetty - because she would have jumped in ..... and then I would have had to go in too!!!
    So I played with her in the yard instead

    Black swans on the Lake ..



    FINALLY - a good pic of Ruby actually standing still .........
    "what is that bird over there Mum???"



    We went over to Raymond Island - and you can only get there by ferry - 300 metres from the mainland to the island!!!!!
    So it takes about 2 minutes on the slow ferry ..... I could swim it faster ............
    ANYWAY, lookie at what I found in the tree





    ..... yes, a Koala!!! There is a huge colony on the island apparently. I, of course only found ONE Koala. The 2nd pic was kindly sent to me by a gentleman I work with who lives on the island!!!!!

    BUT, these I took ......



    This is a Rainbow Lorikeet .......... isn't it beautiful!!!
