We have another anniversary this week. Today marks 3 years since Pingo joined the pack. Pingo came from a musher who just wasn't using her very much anymore. She'd been bumped from his A-team and wasn't really meant to be a distance racing dog. She wasn't ready for retirement though and wasn't happy not working. She was perfect for a recreational team who needed a leader--like mine!
She's a silly girl! Always good for a giggle! Always happy with her tail going a mile a minute!
She loves being on top of her house. She's rarely in it, but that could be because it is full of her treasures--rocks, balls, stolen recycling. If something is missing in our yard, chances are it's in Pingo's house. Stuart has learned not to set his tools down outside! She even stole my camera once!
She's a sweetie!
All the other dogs like her!
Onyx loves her! She's very gentle with the cats, although I think she'd like to herd them sometimes. She has some border collie in her and her herding instincts kick in once in awhile!
She's a good little lead dog, much stronger than she looks!
She always gets the job done although sometimes she insists on doing it her way, not mine!
