It says "Black cat" in the centre. I cannot read the words on the bottom though...

I'm sure the graphic on the clock originally came from the logo for a club in Paris. Very stylish.

I have a huge poster that has the same image of your clock. I believe it says "Journey of the Black Cat by Rodolphe Salis". I think it says something else, but I can't recall from memory. I have it hanging over a low shelf thing, and my huge black cat Kusko was sitting on the shelf below the poster just like the black kitty in the poster. The little booger moved before I could get a picture, I was so mad!
