Smokey Blue

Just looking at the picture, Smokey is more than likely a Russian Blue. I noticed he has green eyes, a silver sheen to his coat, and short dense fur. If he has a high musical meow, a extra long tail, long slender legs, and a sweet disposition you can count on him being a Russian Blue. There are very few pure breed Russian Blue, but there are some cat breeders that are trying to breed a pure Russian Blue line.

Our Russian Blue is named Buddy, and he is just that. A true buddy. We love his gentle and affectionate nature. I suggest you purchase the book, The Complete Owner's Manual by Susie Page. It gives an interesting history and description of the Russian Blue and is well worth the money. Jose

He looks just like our cat Smokey who passed away last October. He was probably not pure Russian Blue, but very close. His meow was very musical, and he was really friendly and sweet, though a bit timid. (That made him cute) Although he never went outside, his possible brother is always outside, and sometimes Smokey saw him through the window.
