Calendar Quote

I have a poodle calendar in my kitchen and there is a quote each month pertaining to dogs in general. I was just reading ahead some of the quotes and I thought this was so beautiful that I wanted to share it.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog
You are his life, his love, his leader
He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion

That is an excellent quote. It was used for Puzzle 51, Puzzle 61, and Puzzle 86.

Great quote...it's too bad more humans don't read it before they get a dog. That would be great as a poster as well as a T-shirt.

I've never done the puzzles either. Guess why the
quote was new to me....
The puzzles seem like it would take a lot of "logon "time
to stay with it. I prefer the old fashioned crossword kind.
