Uh oh, just found out that a thief was in the kitchen tonight and broke open the cabinet. Someone has messed up the cat food that has been stored there...

Needless to say, the name of the prime suspect starts with an L and ends with a Y...

Hmmmmmmmmm, would it be somebody named "Lucky", or "Lucy", or "Lizzy", or "Loopy", or "Lacy", or "Lindy"?

.......... I just KNOW it could NOT have been Lily, because she would NEVER do anything like THAT! It must be just a coincidence that her name starts with the letter "L" and ends with the letter "y".

I have all the dry food in a big tin box. And who do you think can take the lid off that box since 2 weeks or so? Name starts with T and ends with S

I have to keep the box in the oven now as it is too big to go in any cupboard and this will mean we'll have warm catfood sooner or later because I'm getting old and forget it all the time.

I'm so glad to hear that A & P Investigations will be in on solving this crime! They know the antics of Dudley the Duck very well and I'm sure they will prove that he was involved. No way did sweet, innocent little Lily have anything to do with this!

Yes, it must have been a typo in the first post when you said the main subject has an "L" as the first letter in it's name, and a "y" as the last letter. That first letter should really be a "D", right? I just KNEW it couldn't be Lily! And I know how destructive Dudley the Duck can be, because he's been at my house a few times since I got Shadow and Little Orphan Annie, too!
