    spay skin

why do cats, most cats get that skin hanging down after they grow up when theyve been spayed? ppl keep telling me shes fat, in which she is not, shes 8 lbs. i think she needs more, lol. its like shes got saggy bewbies but had no kittens. i think she wants kittens tho. and i wanted kittens, but theres too many kittys that dont have homes. but, back to topic. how many of you have spayed kitty skin? is there a way they can work it off? or is it there for good?

Hi!! I spoke to our vet about this, the same thing has happened to a few of our females and to one of our males. She felt it was because they were getting older and the skin, like ours, loses its elasticity. And gravity does not help matters!!!Just like in us humans!!! Hope that helps, Sandra
