    Walkies with Grandma...

My parents were visiting for a few days. I took my Mom on a hike with a few of the dogs:

    She hates going down hills!

Earle and Founder came back several times while she inched down the hill. Gotta makes sure Grandma is ok.

Hobo showed off his happy dance.

We went to a creek where the dogs showed off.

Founder put on quite a performance for a dog who doesn't like water!

The dogs were all very well behaved. Maybe they know who sends the big bags of treats of Christmas?? Gotta be nice to Grandma to get more treats!

Awwwwwwww! Look at those happy doggies. Big smiley cute faces all around. Don't worry, you guys will have snow pretty soon to frolic around in. I don't like going down hills either Mom. I've fallen way too many times. Glacier, it looks so peaceful and refreshing there as always. Thanks for another wonderful mini vacation.

And a wonderful time was had by all. Thank you for sharing that and for taking me away from my office for a few moments. I just love your doggie pictures.

Hi Grandma! Looks like Earle & Founder have you under control.

What a beautiful place you live in! I always wondered what doggie heaven looked like!

Beautiful pictures, such happy dogs! Isn't it cool how they love to show off? They can tell when they have an audience! (Hi, Grandma!)

I'm with Grandma on the hill thing too. But boy is it ever worth going down that hill. Look at those happy smiling faces you get to see. Oh boys, I think you will definitely get a big bag of goodies for Christmas. I would have loved watching you boys splash around in the water. And just to see the Hobo happy dance would have been worth the trip. I am sure that you made Grandma very happy during her visit.

What great pics! Looks like your mom had fun watching the dogs. It's really pretty there right now. I love that one of Founder playing in the water. Of course, it is always good to see Earle. He's so very handsome. Hobo looks very happy. I can only imagine the joy you get from these dogs. I have just one and have so much joy. You are really blessed to have that multiplied.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.

Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
