    Pug Fostering Question

I am a member of the Ohio Pug Rescue and I want to foster a pug. Has anyone fostered a dog before and how was your experience. I'm a bit apprehensive about caring for a pug and then letting the pug go. I really want to dedicate a part of my life to caring for pugs in need of a home until they have been matched with the perfect owner...yet I love pugs and know I'll fall in love.

Please advise on your experience with fostering any dog.

There is nothing wrong with falling in love with fosterpug, but do it knowing that you are going to be giving the gift of that love to some home who needs the particular kind of goofy, snorting, snoring adorable love that a pug just is. And you won't be saying good-bye, just farewell - split that word - Fare Well, dear Pug! when pug goes.
