(*WHERE did MY dog go!? - 12 pics/1video*)

You know that one dog - Kiara , that I always mention is really shy, skiddish, barks at everyone? You know, the one that many of you have met and witnessed such already?
Well, where did she go? Has anyone seen her? Because all I have is this dog who let anyone touch her at the beach tonight, let anyone throw her frisbee, and let one of my brother's friends who the dog has seen once or twice for a short while, touch her and cuddle with her within minutes of my brother's friend being in the house.

    Who's dog is this!?
I'm so incredibly proud of my baby girl. I want to cry. She's grown so much and has been doing so wonderfully. So much more sociable, it's wonderful!!

    Ready for the beach, mom!

    Playing tug with my mom...

Catchin the frisbee. She loves this thing so much but it's almost ready to retire!

    Down by the beach...

I was taking pictures of the sunset and she decided to lay in the muck.

    My pretty little girl...

    Pretty Brandy...

And the real surprise. Kiara with Darcy, my brother's friend I mentioned. Now any of you who have met Kiara know this isn't something that would happen within minutes!

    Nala got Jealous...

    And the video....
Her catching her frisbee. She's so great at this!

    Good girl Kiara!

Sounds like your getting over that shyness of yours girl! Maybe next time I see you, I'll get to cuddle too

Kay your right, she is skinny. I don't think I would have realized just how much weight she has lost since you got that swimming pool for her if we hadn't been talking about it.

I can see that too especially in the first pics. Anyone want to buy me a swimming pool so I can get skinny too?

I'm glad to hear Kiara is being such a good girl! She was definitely one to bark and be cautious about strangers, though it didn't take long for her to let me pet her. Do you want to come and tell Nebo he doesn't have to be a chicken anymore either? I took him to Petsmart today...he gave a few people kisses but wouldn't let anyone touch him.

I think Ki looks tremendous! Muscular and fit! She's beautiful!
Kudos to you Kay! You've done a wonderful job of socializing and training her! I feel the same about Klo with strangers and other dogs. She's changed dramatically too! It's the love, patience and devotion. Remember, when we adopt them we have no clue what issues they have or what they've been through. Give yourself a big pat on the pack for doing such a wonderful job with all your dogs! They sure do know how to make us proud, don't they! Smooches on all of them from Auntie K9. BTW, the 1st shot of Kia, with the ear back and huge smile is too cute for words!

    Thanks everyone.

Do you guys think she's TOO skinny? I can feel her bones and such, but she's always eaten a ton and we've given her quite a bit more food than we used to. I can put my hands around her waist and pick her up with one arm. Her muscles are HUGE though, I mean huge. She looks like a weight lifter and my mom constantly jokes that she's looking for the weight room. :P

I've always just assumed because of all that swimming and she's built a high metabolism.

Lut, We don't really know for sure. We've always been told hse's either a Rottie (originally what her papers said) or a Doberman mix. She certainly has the markings, but she is a tiny, tiny dog.
