    The new fosters have arrived.

I only have a couple of photos, but the story first......

As you know 6 (six) babies were adopted Sunday. I was going to wait for 2 weeks to get more, but you know how that goes.

I met one of the volunteers to pick up 3 babies. A brother/sister team. Both all black, named Zanzabar and Silhouette. I believe they are bout 10 weeks old. And a blue/white male, named Maverick, 3 months old.

So, when I get there, the black's little "sister" had returned from the vet so she obviously HAD to come along too. she is a cute little brown tabby, 8 weeks old named Anna.

A*N*D !!! This volunteer also picked up two "unknown" babies from the vet. A black girl (with a little white throat locket) named Skinny and a long haired tabby boy named Magic. barely 6 weeks old from my estimation, but I have absolutely NO info on them at all. All I know is that Magic should have the name Skinny as he is SOOOO very thin. So of course they had to come along too.

so six new babies join the foster ranks tonight.

    Maverick

    Anna

And one of the older black kittens.

The tiny babies' pictures all got blurry. I will work on that tomorrow.

Wish us all luck. I have my foster-land divided up into 3 sections. The 2 bitty babies in a tall playpen cage. The 2 blacks and Anna in room #1. (they have been caged for a few weeks and have a LOT of energy to run off. And the 4 current fosters and Maverick in room #2. (Maverick is not as wild as the other 3, so I thought he'd do better with the current fosters. All is quiet right now.

    Good night. (thanks for reading.)

OK, since we're having withdrawls here from Pearl we'll have to get us some more to foster! Maverick is one handsome dude!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

My Vet's cat is named Zanzibar - a beautiful long-haired tortie who is absolutely spoiled! She sits in the sun and gets petted all day.

Maverick is my favorite from this bunch.

All you foster peeps do such wonder work! Bless you all!

    Kitten city, reporting in...........

Silhouette and Zanzabar have energy to spare. and for such young babies, they sure love their scratching post. (sisal is their favorite)

Anna is so adorable. OHHHHHH Kim, do you need another kittne to make it an even 10????

Maverick is a L*O*V*E BUG!!! OMG! And his pictures do not do him justice. Gorgeous is his color, and soft is his fur.

Skinny is a little cutie-pie with a tiny little squeak. She is NOT to be resisted!

But the one that will steal the heart from an ogre..............Magic. He has this teeny tiny little face and he just stares at you. And he can never seem to get close enough. Too small to cry, I think, I get the silent meows from him. He so thin he is like a skeleton under that lovely long fur, but we are working hard to change all that.

Anyone want to come visit????? (bring a carrier )
