Finn and Maddie at the lake

Yesterday, Finn went swimming with his buddy, Maddie. Here are a few of the photos I got of the two labs doing what labs are meant to do. Finn's on the left...It was a great night!

    swimming out...

    finn...

    Maddie...

    both...

Here's just a nice picture of the sun setting on the lake...

Get pics....they both look like they had a blast. OMG Kari...I can't believe the color of Maddie's coat. He is soooo white and then those yellow tipped ears. I don't think I have ever seen a lab with that coloration. Soooo cool. And Finn of course is too cute. I love the pic with him bringing in that big ol stick. Too funny and too cute.

Really? The white yellow labs were all I saw back in Texas. It's why I chose Finn, out of the other yellow labs, cuz they were all white, and, he was the only dark one. Both their ears are darker than the rest of them...I think that's all I've ever seen. I love the difference between the two of them...The white is cool, just not what I prefer. She's a sweet dog!

I have never seen one like Maddie here in Canada. I called my hubby to come see and he was stunned. Funny isn't it how one color in one place can be completely foreign to another place. The dark color is very common here.

That is cool! Everyone around here and in the areas I lived in Texas always think he's a golden retriever because he's not "yellow" like they're used to seeing...crazy!

Very nice. My dogs don't swim much. They like their water frozen! I'd like to get a water dog sometime. I love to swim. It would be nice to have canine buddy to swim with!

Would you look at those two gorgeous retrievers!! What a couple of beautiful labbies they are. Those pics are fantastic Kari. They get along famously don't they? We love the one with both in the water with the big sticks. Looks like a good time was had by all!!

Hey, thanks everyone for checking out Finn and his new pal. They don't really play too much, but, they do love to retrieve those sticks! Maddie doesn't really give hers up, though...

Looks like they had a good time. It's nice to have a friend to go swimming with, isn't it Finn? Great pictures.
