Good-By My Boy, Zippers

oh dear..my zippers, my zippers..

zippers, people say you're just a rat..
to me, you're my little fuzzy precious,
you love me so much and do I so too.
people say you bore them, you don't talk..
I know you do, you squeak, you run under me.
bath on me, I feel your little wiggly whiskers.
you then chase off some of cats for fun.
you just love to crack your mommy up.

you want frozen peas, not cheerios. you love dried banana especially.
(that helps your mommy going for grocery shopping!)
you hang on bars, waiting for me to take you out, warm you and give you smoochies..
you always have your claws land on my lips.
you always giggle me.
you think nipping my ears is funny. giggle me again.
especially playing hide-and-seek under my shirt & tickle me!
you would do that over again and again..until you tire out.
you curl up on your favorite spot, my chest, around my long hair and take nap together.
the only place you feel so safe and proceed with your dreams.
you could hear my heartbeats, I could feel your little warm squeaky body.

oh not now..not anymore...

chest-tumor won you over. you decided to give up your little heart before I could get to say I love you and good bye - my sweet little shy fuzzy boy.

I'm sorry I was having too much at the camping and wasn't there for you for the whole month, my dear..

so sorry...I'll never forget our a and half years altogether. I'm glad my sister could not take care of you, feed you right, made you live in a very small cage so I could take you! (and your buddy, buttons). you fit right in my bloody jigsaw (heart). all of your friends, every other jigsaw in this ark will miss you dearly too.

Gina, I'm so sorry about Zippers.

He is playing hard at the Rainbow Bridge now. May he Rest in Peace. {hugs}

I'm sorry to hear about your pet rat...I miss my little rat girl, too. It's hard losing even the tiniest of pets.

I'm sorry to say that I don't spend much time in the Pet General Section, so I just saw this. I am sorry to hear that Gina, he really was a cute little guy. What a sweet picture. RIP Zippers!

(((((HUGS))))) Zippers knew that he was loved Gina. He lived a lovely life with you and your Ark. He felt greatly loved I am quite sure. I know that many people think that rats are horrible, and ugly. Some are even terrified of them, but, you look at one and say welcome to my home!

Play hard at the RB Zippers, play with Drapples and both watch on you mommy.
