    Almalfi update

Malfi was seen by the regular vet yesterday, and she thinks he's doing fine.
Still recovering from the URI that almost took him from me.
His eating is good, but his habits are different, and he doesn't seem to enjoy himself as much these days. I'm hoping that he can recover further and put that 1 lb back on. Also, I want to hear him greet me with that big ole voice, and watch him knead. She explained that when a medically complicated cat gets sick they really don't recover fully like normal cats. Two steps back, one step forward.

She did remind me that he STILL looks SO much better than a year ago, when his leg got broken and all paws infected from the pemphigus.

So, I am happy, and will continue to do my job as mama to my boy.

Oh Rose it is soooo good to know that boy of yours is on the mend and will be ok. I know there will be tears of joy when he greets you again for the first time after so long. You are a great meowmie and he couldn't ask for a better one.

Keep up the good work both of you.

I am so happy that Almalfi is recovering. I bet it will just take a little more time for him to be back to himself.

Thanks so much kittycats_delight for the beautiful siggy and avatar of my kids!

If people come here to see our cats most like Tigris more because he looks and behaves so healthy and strong.

But I have a soft spot for the fragile kitties who need us more. Like my Filou- and like Almalfi- who has come such an amazing long way. And he is a really tough little boy- and there are still some lifes left. Kisses to him- and a soft purr song too

I pray that the "Cat in the Sack" Almalfi continues to get better and be back to his own self in no time.
