This morning as I was watching Bella sleep in her usual "on her back position" I was wondering how many pets do this. Out of the other four other poodles that I have had, though they loved having tummy rubs, the only one who constantly slept on her back was Whitney, my other standard poodle. My cats are different too. While Trevor can often be found asleep on his back, I have never found Andy in any other position except a curled up little ball when he is asleep. How about your pets?

not to be encouraged but very cute.

:
Lilly and Honey only flip to their backs when they are wanting a belly scratch, or when they are being submissive. It is sort of sad....but at least they will allow me to scratch their bellies. Mimi and Butter are TOTALLY against being touched on their tummies at all. In over 12 years, Mimi has never had her belly brushed. I like what is left of my hands and arms, and they would be shredded if I attempted to touch or brush!
