    Disney's memorial stone

I finally feel like sharing this with everyone. It's hard to believe she has been gone for just over a month now.

This is Disney's memorial stone. I've had it for several weeks now. I placed it in a landscaped area in the back corner of the yard where Disney used to enjoy walking around. In fact that last morning before we left for the vet she walked around in the mulch and then stepped out into the newly seeded grass and sniffed it. She even had her tail up and for a few moments looked like her old self. I'll never forget that.

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures of her.

    Years ago.

Oh I miss her too! I don't know if you remember or not, but back in the thread where you shared her passing with us I had asked if some day you might share some more pictures when you felt up to it. These pictures are like a little visit with your pretty little Disney girl. She was one of my favorites here at PT.

I am glad you found a special place for her memorial stone in your garden. I love the verse on the stone. So true isn't it? (((hugs))) to you. The grieving continues. I know and I understand. Thank you again for sharing some special moments with your girl.

First let me say how totally beautiful that stone is. Sounds like it fit her perfectly and so does the spot you put it. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

And secondly thank you for sharing some of your favorite pictures with us, I know how hard it must have been but I hope it is a a little therapy for you doing it.
I know once I finally shared a little it seemed to lift a little of the sorrow I had for Angus, I hope you feel the same.

Disney was a beautiful girl and she will always be remembered.

The stone is beautiful, just as Disney was herself. Thank you for sharing the lovely pictures of your lovely girl.
