I used to have a Clydesdale, but when he died I got my Neapolitan Mastiffs and havn't had a horse since.

I love draft horses. Clydesdales are pretty but my favorite are Belgians.

My uncle has quite a few, 4 at last count. He rescues them from abusive situations or, most often, when they get older and fall ill and the old owner can no longer afford their care, he takes them in and they live out the rest of their lives in luxury!! Hs COMPLETELY spoils his animals! They only eat organic food and get the best of everything. He's fabulous!!
They are beautiful! I like black Percherons myself. He also has two of those at his home currently.

I can send you some pictures...once I find them!!! LOL!! I have a few pictures of the ones he had a year or so ago although, I think, sadly, all but one has passed on and he has different ones now. He has one that is 28 years old though, Josie. And my aunt still rides her occassionally! He lives near Albany, NY and I haven't seen him in about a year. He really is a remarkable person. He's my godfather and we have always shared a strong love of animals. They never had children and obviously have lots of money to shower on their animals.
