Is your dog a Sigher, Yawner or Groaner?

What kind of noise does your dog make before heading off to dream land? Are they a Sigher, a Yawner, a Groaner or something else entirely?

Right after they find that perfect sleep position, both Murph and Maddie would let out a big dramatic Sigh.

The Collies, being a more vocal breed though, put a lot more piazz in their sleep announcements. Oz, while he may do a lil' mild groaning, mostly is a huge Yawner. Not those lil' silent yawns that most breeds do, but thunderous, window rattling Yawns.

Gull is a moaner and a groaner. He sounds like an old man, with arthritis, when he's drifting off to sleep. Sounds very human like.

I voted other.....all of the above. While he's sleeping, he's a groaner. Other times, I think he yawns more than he barks. And talk about dramatic sighs......he does that to make a point.

Star groans when she wakes up & stretches, but sighs very softly when she's going to sleep. Sherman is a snorter - he sucks air alot of air in his nose then snorts it out along with a big sigh.

Everyone makes fun of Niño when he groans, because he groans loudly before he falls asleep, but he also sighs.

Maggie is my vocal dog. She's a big groaner when she's settling
down for sleep. Smokey just yawns quitely.
