Missy was the best dog anyone could ever have. I just wish she could have had a longer life. I never knew how much a loved her until the day she died. She was a red and white cocker spaniel. She lived with arthritis most of her life, because of the bad habit of chasing cars.
She stopped eating a week before she died. My mom and I came home from my dad's to discover she had died in her sleep. It was the worst day of my life. She was the very first (close) pet I had that died. We got her from alcoholics who abused her when she was a baby so she was very frightened of strangers. She was a very calm girl and was always good with everyone,once she warmed up to them. I got her when i was 5 years old, so i knew her so well. I want her to know she is loved and missed so very much. My toy poodle puppy, molli, misses you also. Even though you didn't like her very much, she loved you. I am so sorry we coulden't save you. I love and miss you sooo much. love, danielle
