    Raspberry cordial antidote to gastro

We were talking about a dog with a gastro upset on our Tibbies list. A member who's a nurse said that a good folk remedy for gastro upsets was to put some raspberry fruit juice cordial in the dog's drinking water. Another member said that they do this, too, for the livestock on their farm.
Then I found this site below which sets out scientific evidence.

Of course, it would always be important to check bowel & stomach upsets with a vet because they could be a symptom of something else...like poisoning.
