My hubby sure does get into his new grandpa role He is such a softie and loves doing things for the babies - building things for Misha and now Tyler also. Yesterday he had his nose in a new project and was busily working - got out the camera -

All done! He painted a little wood "train" set for each of them. The little car-letters all have magnets and then he glued on some sports buttons for Tyler...baseball and bat on engine and another ball on the caboose...

and a cute ladybug on the engine for Misha.

The colors match their rooms at home, too

Those are just to darn adorable. What a sweet loving grandpa you are Dennis to do this for your precious grandchildren. It's something they will cherish for a lifetime.

My dad made my sons names out of wood also, mind you they are nothing compared to yours, and they have them displayed out for everyone to see.
