    Dance's show results..

Just thought I'd update those of you who may be interested. Dance and I were at a dog show this morning, and we did much better today than the last time. She was a ton more confident and excited to be in the ring, so that was a huge improvement. We got first place in our class. There were only 2 entered in Senior Puppy Female (Dance & another) though, so it wasn't a huge accomplishment, but I was happy! Here are a couple pictures I took and short videos my mom took. The videos aren't very good as she has absolutely no idea how to use a digital camera to take pictures, let alone take videos, but at least it's something! We're entered again tomorrow, so I'm hoping she'll be just as good tomorrow as she was today. Hopefully I will too - I made a couple of absolutely rediculous mistakes today, but at least they weren't anything too serious (just embarassing, lol).

Beside our ring, waiting for the Labs to finish..

And when we got home, with proof that we were actually there this time..

    And the videos..

That's all for now. I'll update tomorrow too probably.

Good job Dance! I really like the first photo. She has a really pretty gait, I love how focused she was on the handler

She does look like she is enjoying herself in the second video. I really like the second picture (she reminds me of Tango in that picture). So will I see her at Westiminster at 4:00 on the 12th?

    Haha, I don't think so.

I can hardly wait for her just to get her points and finish... I don't think I'll ever want another show dog again. I get too stressed out and have next to no idea what I'm supposed to be doing most of the time.

CONGRATS! That is awesome, even if there was one other puppy. I know nothing about showing - but just a question.

I notice Dance has her tail up and slightly wagging and the other Toller has it down. Is there a certain way they are to carry their tail?

Jess, they should have their tail up. The pup in front of me did as she was moving, but put it back down when she stopped. Dance holds hers down too when she's standing - she put it down shortly after the video ended. Stacks always look better with their tails up, but I can't get Dance to do it on her own unless she wants to and I can't hold it as I have to try and stay as far away from her as possible so that she doesn't look to me for confidence... if that makes sense. If I'm too close or touch her too much, she won't stand for the judge and just leans into me.

Oooh, congrats congrats!!! My dream is to start my own kennel of show Pekes, but I'll have to wait a long while for that to come into fruition. Dance looks amazing regardless! You have to post her pic when you guys win BOB
