Ewww Sonny! What a wake up...*Strong stomachs*

Sonny caught a mouse sometime last night. We didn't know that we had mice not to mention we had always thought it was his sister Whiskers who caught the mice. Since Whiskers hasn't been with us for the last several years there hasn't been a mouse caught. Well aparently Sonny wanted his mouse served on a throw pillow. He ate the mouse and then proceeded to throw up half digested mouse on said pillow. Nastiest thing I've ever seen. I wish he'd catch them and not eat them as I don't want him coming near me without having a bath. Ewwwwww. Not the way I pictured getting up today.

    Eeewwww is right!

My mom's cat used to catch mice and eat everything except one little tidbit. We never figured out what part of the mouse it was that he wouldn't eat, but he always left that one little part in a most strategic place so they would notice what a good mouser he was.

    Eeeewwww!!!!

Sonny was meowing at me to have his ears scratched after that and I told him I wasn't touching him until after he took a dip in a bucket of bleach. I wish he'd leave the mice an not touch them, its so gross. Not to mention the mice we get are adorable and I usually let them go outside away from the house. We thought our basement had been sealed up good but they must have chewed through again.

My friend lives in the country and their cat catches birds and eats everything except the heart and liver. Then she deposits it by the back door like it's a gift to her. Like see this is your part. I saved the best for you. It has the bird carcus with the heart and liver just so. She also presents it nice for her standards.

LOL, to cats this is file mignon on a platter. Yummy. They don't understand we think it's gross.

My RB kitty Mysti used to hunt mice but she would torture them and then kill them. Never ever would she offend her delicater palette with such a nasty thing. She would never even put it in her mouth. If she couldn't do what she had to do with her paws then she would find another way. The eater of mice at our house was our akita RB Shadow. Mytsi would kill them and if you weren't quick enough to get to the dead mouse before Shadow then he would eat them. They were quite a team. LOL

Back when he was still spry enough to catch them, Tinkerbell would eat everything on whatever he caught... except for the butt. We'd find squirrel butts, mouse butts, bird butts... it was really weird!

Sonny doesn't eat the butt either. That was left whole. Kinda funny.

Should have a taxidermist mount the butts for us. Make a little butt trophy shelf. The heart and liver story is kinda cute. Saving the best for meowmie. Maybe the cat sensed some sort of vitamin deficiency.
