finn gets a gourmet treat from my mom

My mom loves Finn! She came home yesterday, while Finn was still in the clinic, with a stuffed baseball thing and a tennis ball with a ropey handle thing. She's so sweet! So, tonight, she was bearing gifts for both Finn and me! For me, she brought a bag of one of my most favorite sweets (which I try to avoid!). It's cherry licorice, and, it's so chewy and rich, oh my gosh, it's to die for! I have to really pace myself or I'll eat the entire 10 oz bag! It's called Kookaburra Liquorice and it's a product of Australia. And, she bought Finn a gourmet doggie cookie! Here's my boy with his treat. I only gave him a portion of it, as, I am trying not to overdo it today with food....I don't want him to get a tummy ache.

    Got Treats?

    leave it....

    leaving it.....

and, my mom was talking to him, he's looking at her....thanks, grandma!

still not the most fun, interesting photos, but, I wanted to share the treat with everyone! My mom loves my boy! And, we love her!

That is so sweet of you mom! Aren't moms great? Sounds like you've got a good one, too. Finn, you are so adorable and it's good to see that you're back home and doing well. Kisses to you.

    Yes and YES!

Thanks for the sweet replies, everyone! He has not lost his appetite in the slightest, it's killing him to eat just a little at a time! But, I don't want to overdo it....He went more than 24 hours without, I don't want to fill him up too quickly!

You guys are so sweet, and, to everyone who mentioned it...yes, my mom is great! Grandmas are great! Treats are great! And, I think Finn is pretty darn great, too! He still has a lot of that treat left, and, he'll get the rest of it over the next few days. It's hard as heck to break in pieces, though! My mom gets them at the shop she works at, they get some really nice stuff! Anyway, thanks again everyone, for all the kind remarks about my momma and my boy.

He's doing great! His sutures are in, and, he's not had an accident or gotten sick. And, he acts like nothing ever happened. He's going to get a few more pieces of that treat today. He's laying on the floor next to me right now.
