twelve.. thirteen.. help me figure this out!

I got an email with this pictures as an attachment. Can someone help me and figure out how twelve becomes thirteen? where did the thirteenth person come from?

I recommend you print it and cut it out, then you can see how it happens. It's all where it is cut and moved. I have seen something like that before- but in a GIF I'm not quick enough to see in detail how it moves.

One of the top people doesn't get cut and thats all I can see.

I've printed it and cut the paper and move the top just like the gif file and it is exactly the same. Where did the 13th person come from? still confused here...

You must look at all the bottom parts and then see on which of them a top part arrives. It lies in the very small ends, just like the hair tops and the soles, not in the persons that are cut right in the middle.
