Dog Day Sunday!!

What a great treat for my cold and rainy Sunday. The USA network has an "all doggies" movie Sunday sched. including all of the 4 "Beethoven" movies (ahhhhh!) and at 7:30, a preview show of Westminster, which airs tomorrow and Tues. at 8pm. If you go to the www.usanetwork.com site, "We Love Dogs," you can see who's ahead in the competition, vote for your favorite breed, and read about the show! The link to the Westminster page is near the top of the page that comes up after you cast your vote. So much to read about the competition! Oh, this Beethoven movie is too adorable! Gotta, go; the commercial's over!

now im watching the 3rd one, im not too sure about dog shows, i myself dont care for them, i mean i love dogs but the the stuff the dogs go threw (grooming and all) to be in them just makes me sick. i think thye should have a mutt show, a come as you are show... no grooming allowed except for a quick bath.

That would be my favorite dog show of all!! And for sure, Sim would win!! He really knows how to strut his stuff and ham for the camera!

hehe i just think its so stupid how they spend hours grooming their dog to make them look "good" when they eng up looking like a mop and were much cuter befor..... its kind of like tail docking and when they make their ears stabd up(forgot what its called) but i like dogs natural.

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! i missed the shows!!! Hey do the shows start at the same time every year?? At whay time do they start??? Man!! I cant belive i missed them!!

I watched the Agility Championships after work but only got home in time to see the last half. It was pretty good though. I love how in tune the dogs are with their handlers.

I'm going to miss watching Westminster this year. I just joined this dog book club with several people from the shelter. We meet once a month on Monday evenings and discuss the books as they relate to shelter dogs. I think it sounds really interesting and can't wait for my first meeting tomorrow. I'll also miss Tuesday because I have to go to work and help with surgery recovery.
