Awww!

I saved a Polyphemus Moth this morning. He was laying on the sidewalk and I scooped him up. A few pumps of his wings and he was aloft and settled in a tree nearby.

Butter and Lilly had a "furry friend" like that cornered in our kitchen this morning!

That was the fuzziest caterpillar I have ever seen. I threw it out into the flowerbed where my herbs are planted. I'm sure he's going to enjoy devouring Roger and Milly's Parsley! LOL!!!!

Now I see why Lady Edwina doesn't need to wear her harness outside anymore.

Oops, oh yeah, the caterpillars, it's way too early for Monarch caterpillars so hopefully this is some beautiful, exotic California butterfly.....purple would blend in nicely.
