Laura's post about flushing her cell phone down the toilet made me realize that our contract will be up with Cingular in a few weeks. Hubby and I were thinking about switching providers, but weren't sure if Cingular was the best or if there's something better out there?
We'll NEED the family plan. One phone for hubby, me, and my son who's headed off to college in a few weeks... possibly one for the girls to share too. I need lots of minutes because I use to for work as well as personal. Lots of minutes because we'll be giving my son the phone in lieu of a land line in the dorms. Text messaging is necessary too because thats hte only way I can get hold of my husband while he's in class. Most importantly = PRICE!
Who has what service, and what are the pluses and minuses of the service?

I really like Sprint,but i'm not sure how much were paying for it,,,i'll have to check into that.
