I have no clue what kind of cat I have. I was looking through old cats and saw Frisky. Do you think he is a main coon? My cat looks similar to him. Almost exact. Thanks.

cnac: Re: identifying the breed of your cat, as far as I know, a Maine Coon looks like any other domestic cat except that they are much larger. Remembering about 25 years ago, I took in a very large tabby-type cat who had been dumped by his previous owner. It wasn't until years later that I discovered that he was a Maine Coon. The major problem I had with him was his eating habits. He would not eat canned or dry cat food, except canned liver. Otherwise he was a superb hunter , and had my immediate neighborhood cleared of quail, birds, lizards and rabbits, and desert ground squirrels.
