Well, after months of fighting and hair pulling, the two bunnies finally made peace. I tried them out today, by allowing them to mingle with each other and they did just fine. Cinnamon spent her time grooming Denver, as he fell fast asleep. The war is over. I will keep an eye on them all day today, off and on, but I suspect they are friends now. I thought the Cinnamon was spending a great deal of time plastered against Denver's fence, and couldn't decided when I would take the plunge.
I have had two attempts (not planned by me) to bond them and each time it was a disaster. Both times Cinnamon took a real beating even though she is the agressive one. I think Denver was defending himself and since he is three times the size of Cinnamon, she took the brunt of it.
So, tomorrow I will take photos, I promise.
Now I can have one feeding dish, one litter box (maybe) and one fenced in area! Yea. Actually, they have full run of the porch, no fences, since the kitty cats are banned from the porch until the new screening arrives and is installed.
Peace at last.
