Little Orphan Annie & Shadow T. update

Dear Diary: Shadow T. here again. I have been way too busy playing, and attacking and killing anything that even THINKS about moving in my presence, to stop and write anything here lately. So far I've killed several newspapers, my hoomans' feet---over and over and over again!

---my little catnip mice, my Turbo Track ball, the roll of toilet paper, and the bathroom wall that had a spot that needed to be repaired. NOW it REALLY needs to be repaired!

My hoomans must not have noticed it before, so I helped them out by attacking it every chance I got, so now there is a huge gaping hole-area in the board by the shower. They can't help but notice it now! I really killed it good!

I've been trying to play with my baby sister Annie, but Meowmie and Pawpie and Alex all say I'm way too rough with her. Here's a picture of once when I got caught:

WHAT?!?! WHAT'D I DO? I wasn't doing anything bad, I tell ya. I was JUST PLAYING!

But Little Annie got back at me:

My hoomans seem to think it's OK for HER to get the better of ME, but it's NOT OK when I am getting the better of her! It's SO unfair!!!

I have SO much to teach little Annie! I've kind of been working on teaching her how to post her own messages here on PT, so I think she might try to add something here in a little bit. I'm even going to be nice and let her share MY diary here, so she doesn't have to go start one all her own. (Besides, I can monitor what she types on here better if I know exactly where it is!)

Dear Diary. Hi, Little Annie here. This is my first time trying to do this, so I hope it goes OK. My meowmie says that I am getting better every day, but I don't know what she means by that. After all, how much "better" than PERFECT can a little girl get?

I feel like playing a lot lately, but I don't get out of my carrier unless my meowmie or pawpie or boy is home. Whenever I DO get out, I just want to explore, and explore, and explore.

But then this huge black streak comes running out of nowhere, right at me, and ATTACKS me!

I TRY to defend myself, and then I see that it is my big brother, Shadow! He just can't leave me alone! If I cry loud enough, Meowmie or Pawpie or Alex will pick him up and hold him so he can't get at me. Then I can roam and he can't, and he starts crying to be let loose! I think he deserves every bit of grief he gets!

When I'm in my carrier, Shadow will come to the door and we play footsie through the wires. He has been telling me how much FUN I can have once I'm big enough to be out of the carrier full time. I think I'm big enough already, but Meowmie and Pawpie and Alex don't think so. I think they should lock Shadow up in the carrier for once, and let me roam while HE'S locked up.

Well, that's about all I have to say for now. Meowmie thinks I should write in my diary every other day or so, or even more often if something new and exciting and unusual, or CUTE happens. Heck, that would be every minute of every day if she wants to include CUTENESS in here!

Wow you 2 seem to be having lots of excitement going on. You know Shadow, Annie is still little so you have to be more gentle even if now and then she does get you back. I think you probably get her more than she gets you yet. But you better watch out if you don't play nice with her cause when she gets bigger she will get you all the time.

Annie you are getting to be such a big girl. Writing in your diary all by yourself. Wow that is just great. You are pretty smart too, to know that if you cry just the right way Shadow gets scooped up so you can explore to your hearts content. I think once you get a little bigger maybe in just a few weeks you are going to be able to get Shadow good for all the rough stuff he does to you now. You keep on taking you medicine and you will be better than perfect. Did you know that was possible?

Instead of being perfect you will be ULTRA-PERFECT

That's too cute! The picture with Annie on top of Shadow is hilarious- just as if she doesn't know what to do now that she's caught big brother

Those two are so much fun to watch. Shadow reminds me of K&L's Mouser - another wild and crazy guy.

You have done such a great job with Annie - she looks to have a long and happy life.

Oh how I truly enjoyed reading your diaries Shadow and Little Annie.

Poppy is also too rough playing with little Willy. When he is out of the room, Poppy just will not leave him alone. I think, that he thinks, Willy is one of those little remote control toys.

So, when it comes time to let Willy out of the room for some freedom, Poppy gets put into the room for a time out.

So dear Shadow, you better watch your P's & Q's if you don't want the same thing to happen to you.

Little Orphan Annie, you are too precious for words and I know you are going to grow into such a dainty, pretty young lady.

Shadow, I think you better learn to control your killing instincts, or else you won't earn any brownie points doing those things my dear.

They are both so adorable.

Thank you for the update. I had started to worry about everyone. Glad Shadow and Annie are doing so well. My what grown up little tykes making their own posts now. Keep up the good work guys and keep us up to date on your antics. Be well and be healthy and happy!

Hey there, beautiful kitties! Haven't heard from you in a few days, just checking in to send both of you a whole lot of lovebug and ask what kind of kitty mischief you've been getting into. And how are you feeling these days, little Annie? I do hope you feel a whole lot better and you're getting bigger, stronger, and cuter every day. Hope to hear from both of you very soon.....
