Folly Beach, South Carolina (starfish, shadows, dobie, seashells, and seagulls)

Hey! Ben and I just returned this evening from Folly Beach (Charleston). We had a very nice time, and, it was so good to be on a beach. Here are just a few of my favorites, I may post more tomorrow. Hope you enjoy these.

    Ben and me

This seagull flew just inches above my head, I was praying he didn't poo on me! But, I LOVE this shot!

Tons of shells, from higher tides.

This is one of my favorites, it's just a log almost covered completely in sand.

    more in the next post....

    starfish

There were so many starfish that were left behind after the tide went out. It was sad, they were everywhere. Most of them looked like they were going to make it, but, some of them had already perished. This one was the biggest that we saw.

This poor guy was dried up, but, was very interesting, and, made for some really cool shots. Here they are.....

He looks HUGE in this shot, like a jungle gym or something!

next post is the last one for now...

    logs and dobie!

    These logs were cool....

And, there was a guy on the beach with his BEAUTIFUL doberman, chasing frisbees. These are the only two I got, but, they're decent.

    That's all for now!

Those are great pics. You take such good pics and I enjoy looking at them all. The beach is beautiful. Better looking beach than some of the crappy ones we have here in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

I have never heard of Folly Beach before. Looks like a great place to walk and enjoy the sun and water. You took great pictures - very artistic! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, everyone! It was such a good couple of days, the beach was almost deserted. We were going to go to Myrtle Beach, but, there was a huge bike week thing going on, and, we knew it would be super crazy. And, it's just more popular anyway! We went during the week so as to avoid weekenders. We just wanted to walk and enjoy the peace, it was perfect. We picked two wonderful restaurants and had excellent food both times we ate out. Great trip! I'm glad you all liked the photos.

Just bumping this back up, since I just posted the other photos from the beach. I hope to take Finn next time I go out there, I wonder what he'll think of the salt water!
