I always take my Betta out of his tank and put him in a little bowl with a cover. Than I dump all the water out of his tank and rinse it clean, add fresh water the same temp as his old water and plop him back in!![]()
I rinsed it out a few times, but left a tiny bit of his old water in in order to keep some germs in there, I read that somewhere that they need a small amount of urine in the water. Then I put th water in same temp as he is in and drop a couple drops of tank conditioner in the water to kill the chlorine. Then I mix it a bit a put him back in.
