Finally! Gerbil pictures

Hello!
I thought I'd include some pictures of my 6 gerbils. I've had them for between 6 months and 2 years, and I finally got around to taking some pictures.
So, here goes!
Firstly, this is Alvin. He is about 2 and is my personal favorite (but don't let the other boys know that!). He is very friendly, and rather plump, but I think that adds to his charm. His cage mate is Simon.

He is around 2 as well. Very curious and intelligent.

This is Basil. He is about 6 months old. He is very unusual, because he is grey with pink eyes. He is the most active and intelligent of the boys! His cage mate is Manuel.

This is Manuel. He is very beautiful, his colouring reminds me of a Siamese cat. He is very shy, and seems to let Basil do the protecting!

Here is Damien. He is solid black except for a tiny white spot by his mouth. He is also fairly shy, except with our cats. If they ever get to close to the cage he will bite them! He doesn't seem to know he should be afraid. His cage mate is Theodore. Damien is about a year old.

Finally, this is Theodore.
He is a bit of a glutton, but he is the only gerbil who likes the exercise ball. He is what I call a 'tuxedo' gerbil! He is about a year old, and is Damien's brother.
It amazes me how different all the boys are. They have such personalities. I must admit I am a bit addicted to them, I wouldn't be surprised if we get another 2 in the future!

No, they live in 3 separate cages. Alvin and Simon are together, Basil and Manuel are together, and Theodore and Damien are together.

gerbis! we need more little guys here! I have had Gerbils since I was 8, when the last of my own lines past away I just could not stand 2 days without have gerbils, currently I have 5

scribbles and doodles are about 3 years old now, I have had them since they were 4 months and Cinder, Stubby and Sniffles are about 1 year old.

this is my fav piccie of scibs and dood, scribbles is the black and white one, currently he is sick he gets along ok but sometimes he deens help I think he is loosing his eyesight as something and have to scoop him up from his nest and take him to his food dish as he cant alwasy get there by himself doodles is the mottled one he is my favorite boy, he is the sweetest gerbil I have ever met, fat and healthy and do friendly he would never survive in the wild, he has only ever ascaped once, and when I sat on the floor her happlily walked into my lap lol


this purty boy is Cinder, he is not as friendly as doodles but he is so pretty


this is one of my girls, she came to me with only half a tail hence the name "stubby"

Gerbils! I love gerbils!!!
It is so nice to see so many adorable gerbils in so many different colors.
Here are my two gerbil girls, Chocolate and Brownie.
They were Pets of the Day on Feb 27th.

I have enjoyed seeing all the pictures of other people's gerbils. Sniffles and Stubby are a really pretty colour- I had no idea that gerbils came in so many different shades! The other boys are very cute as well.
I remember Brownie and Chocolate- I thought at the time that they were lovely, and I still do!
Does anyone have any idea of all the different colours that gerbils can be? I'd love to hear, and see, more about this.
