We got a dog! Well, Alexa got a dog but it's close enoughWe've spent a lot of time looking for a dog and researching, but we just hadn't had any luck. Last night when the humane society was updating petfinder we found what looked like the perfect dog for us, so we got there right when they opened this morning.
However when we got there we were told he was on a "wish list" people fill out an application when they are looking for something specific then they will call when they find a match. So we were sad and went to look at the dog from yesterday, we decided to see about taking her for a walk. Then they informed us she wasn't good with cats. So we decided to fill out a wishlist. The wishlist lady was so sweet! She said "I have the perfect dog here!" She hadn't called anyone yet about him, so we were able to look at him.
He was so perfect and sweet and the cutest dog I've ever seen! He's a doxie mix, he has the face and length of a doxie but long lanky legs! From the picture we were thinking he looked like a purebred, but when I got there we fell in love with his cute and unique look!
I'm kicking myself for not taking my camera to the shelter was us to take picture when we were playing with him. But here's the picture from the shelter website!
He's being neutered right now, so tomorrow I'll go with Alexa to pick him up.
