Oh Peej...I loved that curly, beautiful fur of yours before!! Even though your new 'cut doesn't look that great, at least you'll be cooler! And we all know it'll grow out soon too!! That stinks though...

    Thanks Kay!!

Is he more comfortable, though? Is that the first time you'd taken him to that groomer? Did they not follow your instructions? I didn't pay a groomer once because they totally messed up on my dog's coat. The only instruction I gave was not to touch his tail and ears, and, they cut them the shortest. I'm sorry you're not pleased with the cut.

I'm sorry your not pleased with the cut. Did you use your regular groomer? Try not to be sad Peej doesnt look upset at all.
He is smiling away in his pictures. His fur will grow back, in the meantime he will be nice and cool.

Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

It wasn't his first time to go to a groomer. He goes about once a month, but this was his first time to go to this groomer.

My instructions are always the same. A traditional cocker cut, but keep the ears square and short and keep the skirt a few inches off the floor. Cut out the mats if there are any.

He had a few mats this month...he hates to be brushed so it's like pulling teeth trying to keep him totally mat free.

When we picked him up my daughter laughed because he looks so skinny without his hair. I think I'm still in shock.

Gosh I am sorry that it wasn't the cut you wanted. But please tell Peej that we still think he looks very handsome . And he will feel a lot lighter now. He may even run around at the park this time .

Ohhh PeeJ!!! What have they done! At least you still have that cute smile on your face! Remember; It'll grow back, and to never use that groomer again!

Did you say anything to them? I would have been... umm.... TICKED! That is not even close to a traditional cocker cut!!

Thanks, everyone. I guess you're right...I care more than he does. He just looks like a lamb, not a dog!

Interesting, I've never seen a cut like that before. He doesn't seem to mind though. I would have been mad lol.

-thank you Poppy for the avatar.

Poor Peej! It'll grow back though. And I am sure it's cooler for the summer. I'm planning on giving Drake his summer haircut after the movers get everything out of here. I'm going to so something different this year. Drake always gets shaved and gets to keep a mane and I shave his tail and leave some fur at the tip, like a lion. This year, he is getting a mohawk!
