    Tomorrow marks 3 years...

April 25 is 3 years since I put Pete on a plane to the University of Saskatchewan vet clinic. He needed a PU surgery very badly and it couldnt' be done locally.

This is what he looked like just before we left for the airport. He was not a happy kitty!

Three weeks later he was home looking like this!

Now he looks like this! He's happy, fat, affectionate and most importantly healthy!

Sending him away was traumatic for both of us!

But Pete is worth all the trauma and every dime of the very large bill!

OMG, Pete is so beautiful! I want to reach out to that last picture and cuddle him. He is so lucky that you are his mom. Some pet owners wouldn't have expended the $$ to save him. I'm sure Pete has repaid you with lots of love every day of his life.

I know about the VERY big vet bill and you had to add plane fare. But you are correct, Pete is worth every penny. (as Rutherford was). I am glad that 3 years have passed and all continues to be well. Kisses for Pete.

Everytime I hear about Pete's story I tear up. It's so fantastic what you did for him.
Pete is such a handsome boy and he looks so good. It's hard to imagine how sick he must have been three years ago. I would think that the seperation was the worst thing in the world to experience knowing he was so sick. I bet that was the hardest part.
I'm so glad that Pete's story has such a happy ending! He sure is a very lucky little boy. Incredibly handsome too!!!

I just want to kiss that sweet face and snuggle him up!

Poor baby, had to be sent away to get what he neded. I hope all that is just a bad memory for you and for him. Most of them are worth going that extra mile to get what they need as each one are so VERY special!!

Oh Pete, you are so darn adorable! I'm so happy your meowmy decided that you were worth all the trouble and expense, and I know you have paid her back many fold since you've come home again.
