Ozzy figured out this week that the camera will not bite him!

Hanging out in the snow.

His "look I have no ears" pose!

That no ear look again! He had moved to the front of the house where the snow has melted now.

Oh, he has one ear!

Happy little fella.

This one is going to be his wall of fame picture.

I am pretty sure I have never seen Ozzy before! He is SO beautiful! I feel stupid asking, but what breed is he? He looks like a Huskey mix. BTW you need to post more pics of him more often. He is so so pretty!! Thanks so much for sharing and I can not wait to see more pics of him!

Could you give him a kiss on the nose for me!lol

He's an Alaskan Husky, which really isn't a breed, but any dog bred to specifically to pull sleds. He comes from a line of racing sled dogs--I snooped on his shelter file and found out who dumped him so I know who bred him and a bit about his background. I have his brother too, Mac. I suspect they are husky-pointer-hound crosses as that's what most mushers around here breed.

Oh really! Now I am gonna have to get a huskey! I didnt know Alaskan Huskies werent considered breeds. Thats interesting. Do you have pictures of Mac posted too? I must have missed them if you do. So do you use him to pull at all? I would love to hear more if you dont mind PMing me. Thanks

This is Mac, taken last weekend.

I use them both to pull. Ozzy is a bit of goofball, but he likes to come along for the run and he works hard. Mac is much more driven and if all goes according to plan, he'll be my next lead dog.
