    Introducing...

Sky. He's a young male kitty, that I saved about two weeks ago. I first saw him on some stairs at my mom's apartment. I walked over to him and started talking to him. He hissed at me, so I gave him his space. As I was talking to him, the "owners" came up, grabbed him by the scruff and drop kicked him down the stairs. Instead of giving these cruel people a piece of my mind, I asked if the cat belonged to him. He said yes and asked if I wanted it. I wasn't going to let the cat be in their "care" any longer, so of course, I took him. The "owner" willingly gave me his food, cat litter and food bowls.
Sky is coming around slowly, and still cowers when I go to pet him. I didn't ask the "owner" the cat's name, so I just named his Sky, after his beautiful sky blue eyes. He's already learned his name. Anywho, here he is. Sorry, the pictures aren't great, the little guy won't sit still!

Here he had just finished a long, loud MEEOOWW!!!

That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed.

First...LOTS OF HUGS to you for saving this angel from truly horrible people.

Sky is gorgeous!! You're both lucky to have eachother.

Good luck with getting to know him. It sounds as though he's getting settled pretty well. These pictures show he feels safe.

    Congrats!!

Bless his heart! What a gorgeous kitty.

First let me commend you for keeping your cool when you witnessed such a horrid thing. I'm sure I would have had to be jailed! What you did was much better because you were able to rescue Sky. Thank you so much for being so caring. He is gorgeous and hopefully one day he will no longer be afraid.

As for the "owners"...They will get theirs one of these day! I firmly believe that you reap what you sow and I wouldn't want to be them! They deserve everything they get!!!

Bless you for taking in this precious kitty. No wonder he's scared; he was obviously mistreated and needs to trust hoomans again. Welcome to Pet Talk Sky....you are in a loving furever home now and there's nothing to be frightened of.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

OH MY GOD!! What in the world did that poor kitty do to deserve being treated like that!! You are a far better person than I am, I would have been screaming my head off, calling the law and trying to kill that guy!! OH GOD! There is just no telling what kind of horrors that poor baby has suffered through but thank God that is over for him now! I wish you luck in winning his trust but even if he never turns into a loving lap cat, he has been taken from a life of horror! THANK YOU!!!

He is such a beautiful thing.. How could anyone.....Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for taking him in and being in the right place at the right time. You've saved this handsome guys life. His former owners will eventually get whats coming to them. I sure hope that they don't have any other pets.

Welcome to PT gorgeous Sky!!! I also have a male cat named Sky and I adopted him from the Humane Society and named him Sky because of his sky blue eyes and also to go along with my weather theme.
