I went with a friend of mine to D.E.W., which stands for Domestic, Exotic, & Wild. Its kinda like a zoo, but not really. The best way to describe it, I guess, is like an animal refuge. But anyway, I went there last summer and finally got the pictures for them. My friend forgot about them But here are some of them!

These two are of me and a baby cougar (the braces are off now, by the way )



This is me with one of the gibbons, Freddie.


We didn't have time to hold this little guy, but he's a little black leopard about to be bottle fed.


I hope to go again this summer, and I'll have my camera this time for LOTS more pictures!

OH MY!! Now I am eating my heart out that you got to hold that baby!! How did it's fur feel, how does it feel to hold one? I just got so many questions.......did it let you snuggle and love on it? Did you get to play with it? How does it feel to actuall hold one... so many questions!!!

It was SO cool to hold one; I love big cats!. And his fur was very soft! He wasn't really interested in snuggling because he was waiting to be fed , but he was good about being held. My friend and I got to play with them (him and his sister) while they were in their little playpen. Like I said, I can't wait to go again this summer, take more pics, and play with more babies!

Years ago, I held a baby aligator in the Everglades. I was soooo scared!! , and last year I held a baby crocodile in Egypt too!
