    Update on Our Yard *pics*

We worked hard on our yard today. Put flowers in, sod, mulch, a bench...
    Watering after laying the sod.

    Some of the flowers..

Looking from the side gate in.

    Simba approves.

Had to add this.. I *love* Rose leaves with water on them.

    Another flower..

The UGLY (in my opiniong) bench that we spent nearly $300 on. GROSS.

    Flowers..

    Few more coming..

I picked out this plant and LOVE it. It's supposed to get big.

My mom happy with her turtle bench (See the little twig in the back with white? That's Jasmine. )

The side yard (still need more flowers!)

    That's all for now.

Wow, what a great yard! It is so pretty. Whoever picked the flowers did a great job!!!! I bet the dogs will love having grass to lay on. The dog area of our yard is a little short on grass too - too many dogs in one small area and I know they would love to have more grass to lay one. Looks like you found some nice purple flowers - purple ones are my favorite too. And your pictures really show everything off so great!!!!!

Great yard. Sometimes I wish I had a yard, but I am too lazy for yard work, so I will just admire yours and others instead. :P

    Thanks everyone.

The bench..well.. it'd be cute if it was maybe $150, but $300? On that. No way.

They had another huge turtle thing that would have been really cute to plant some flowers in. It was made to keep your hose in, but could be easily used as a planter. It was only $70.. but noooooo.

It'd be a lot nicer if it had color to it. I like colorful things, and it's just dull to me.

Love all the flowers. Especially the blue ones. That bench is strange looking.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.

Great pics Kay, your yard is looking real good. I'm with you on the bench, but your mum obviously likes it, so I guess that's got to be good enough.

    Thanks everyone.

Lut, That's a Delphinium. They thrive in full sun and can reach 12"-30" depending on the variety. They come in different colors as well.
