Neat!! How big is she going to get!?

She'll get about twice the size she is at now. She's only three inches right now. Just a baby.

Oh and those things on her head are mites. They are very beneficial to Millipedes and help keep harmful bacteria off of them.

She's adorable. Is she a certain species? I'd get shot if I brought home one of those (looking for more roaches though). The mites would bug me though, literally.

She is, I just don't remember. All I know is their care is the same as Giant African Millipedes, though they are a different species.

Thank you! They are very similar to centipedes, but much much cuter! They have two legs per segment, and share characteristics with both insects and worms.

I recorded a video of her so you all can see how she crawls. The video is noisy due to the traffic near our house, but the video is really cool because you can see her legs move while she walks.

    Millie says thanks!

She is absolutely gorgeous in person! She is by far one of the healthiest millipedes I've seen.

Wow! Millie looks like a very cool pet! Do the mites just stay on her or will they move to other places, like on other pets?
