    What do you think?

I've finally found time to review Kasie's medical history and it has the address of the gentleman who found her on the side of the road with his address. I was thinking that I would write him a letter thanking him for rescueing her and taking her to Zeeb Pet Health Center so I could end up adopting her and include a picture so he can see how beautiful and well loved she is.

    What do you guys think?

I think it would make him feel good and stop again if that situation ever happened again to know the life he saved is LOVED and doing well!! I would do it in a heartbeat if I had his address and I would also thank him for taking the time to stop and help the helpless. (The world needs more people like that)

I think that is a wonderful idea! I know if it was me I would love to know how wonderful it turned out. I'm with Laura that it may also encourage him and others that he tells the story too, to continue to do nice things like saving a lost animal.

I would love to know who brought Magoo to the shelter. I wish I could let them know just how well that turned out. I'm sure they figured he got PTS with the condition he was in.

I'm sure that is what he if figuring too.

Let me share what it says on the report with you.

Presented as a stray that was hit by a car by John Doe (guy's acutal name) found her lying in lawn next to house. Flies all over/around her. Clinton County Animal Control was contacted; They gave permission to either euthanize her due to broken right rear leg or for us to repair fracture and adopt her out to a loving home.

They almost euthanized her if Kelly the foster mom hadn't stepped in and said to give her a chance first.

He is obviously a nice guy if he cared enough to save her and bring her to the shelter. I'm sure he would appreciate an update

Without hesitation YES!!! I'd love to know how many of my rescues who've gone to new homes are doing, and ones that were in dire straits are even more touching. This angel who rescued Kasie I'm sure would feel so good to know that she's safe now, and well loved. I'm sure he wonders what happened, and whether he did the right thing by bringing her in. He may well think she was killed, and it would surely make his day to hear, and see pictures about how well she's doing now.
