    Filou to the dentist

I had forgotten when Filou had seen the vet for tooth cleaning and Siegmar said it cannot be more than one year. But I searched PT and could see my feeling was more precise: he had been there in July 2003.

His fishy breath tells me the same and so he will be in tomorrow morning

I know this is not a big thing but as always I am worried. So keep your fingers crossed for my little heart kitty.

How old is Filou? Do you think the dentist will pull a tooth?

Filou is 9 and like many Abys he builds a lot of tartar which will lead to an inflammation of the gums. I cannot check that very well as the boy doesn't accept it but since he is 2 he had to go for tooth cleaning every 1,5-2 years

Filou, it will be so nice getting your teeth cleaned, I just had it done myself. Now, remember to give us a big smile when you get home. Good luck at the vet, gorgoues boy!!

I'll be booking a vet appointment for Fister one of these days, he also needs to have his teeth cleaned - and his yearly vaccination. The question is, should I give him a pill before the visit.

Good luck Filou, we'll keep our fingers and paws crossed here.

Ripley had his done two years ago but when he went for his annual last month the vet said he was good for a bit longer, thank goodness. I've had to go through this with my dog many times because she has bad teeth. She had it done twice last year but the second time was because she jumped out of the car, broke her tooth on the concrete garage floor and had to have an extraction and cleaning. It's never fun for the patient or meowmie, I know.
